Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving, folks. As Action Figure Mohinder and I will be in New York this week, drinking Prosecco and cranberry juice with Ingrid (festive!), the posting schedule might get a little wonky. I'll try to have Heroes up by Tuesday morning, though no promises.

Five preview clips of Monday's Heroes may be viewed here. For those who avoid spoilers, I won't comment any further, apart from noting the following:
a) Clip #1 looks pretty good,
b) Clips #2 through #5 are pretty much the worst things I've ever seen,
c) in Clip #4, with the single line "You're so likeable!", Doug just became my new favorite character, and:
d) I'm actually sort of okay about being stuck on a plane while the episode airs live.

Are you bringing Action Figure Mohinder_TM? Looking forward to your visit :-)

Action Figure Mohinder is currently locked in mortal combat with Action Figure Tetsuo (I think Tetsuo has the upper hand, pun intended. Dunno, maybe Mohinder could hit him with his Activating Evolution book or something? Strangle him with his man-purse?) and thus might not be able to make it. I'll have to see how the battle goes.

It's all fun and games until the Ronin Warriors action figures join in.

Tetsuo would obviously win in mortal combat against Mohinder. Unless Mohinder got himself a huge plasma shoulder-mounted gun and a kick-ass motorcycle, that is.

Dude. That's what Heroes has been missing!

I'm not watching the clips only because I'm going to have to sit through the horror once already when it airs tonight.

Hope you have a fantastic Thanksgiving and glad to see that action figure Mohinder is with you on the holidays.

Cheers!

You're going to looooooove the Bennet Family Thanksgiving scenes. On the plus side, there's also a new Sylar-heavy promo for the episode (I don't have a link handy) which looks really good, so we'll see. It might end up being a good episode, though I question the judgment of whoever picked those preview clips. Sometimes I think they're deliberately trying to drive the ratings down.

Have a happy Thanksgiving here on the East Coast! Are you both going to the parade? Im sure Action Figure Mohinder would really enjoy it...

Im catching up with last few week's TV now. I look forward to joining in on comments with a holiday drink in my hand - hurrah!

Lou, we missed the parade, by intention. Ingrid and I took a long morning walk across the Queensboro bridge into Manhattan and over to Central Park, avoiding the post-parade festivities all the while. We both shun large crowds whenever possible.

Awesome visit. Returning to Los Angeles in the morning, where I might or might not get caught up on missed shows.

Lou, if you're doing a crash course in missed Heroes episodes and have limited time, just watch the one from last week, and the one from two weeks before that, and skip the rest. There have been some recent stinkers.

Sounds like you had a great Thanksgiving! Well, it seems that the rest of the world has gone ahead of you. Like Dan I have been able to watch the next episode of FlashForward (A561984) so I will have plenty of time to consider my response and be first to post on Friday!

And it seems that some of my theories are finally being proven correct - after so many dud ones!

I can't speak for Morgan, but I had a great Thanksgiving this year :-)

(I may have stocked up on too much champagne for her visit, though. Didn't think that was even possible.)

Princess cakes and chestnut stuffing and Action Figure Mohinder, oh my!

Patrick, I'm looking forward to FlashForward this week. After a lackluster episode followed by no episode last week, I'm feeling the need to get back on track with the show. I've heard whispers from some of the non-United Statesians who managed to see it last week that it was a pretty decent episode.

That pretty much sums up our Thanksgiving, yep. Awesome time. Action Figure Mohinder enjoyed himself.

Yes I don't want to raise any hopes but I thought it was a very good episode - one of the best. I didn't have my usual complaints about things being unlikely.
